The Old Man and the Sea (1958)

Santiago, an elderly Cuban fisherman, hasn’t caught anything for 84 days. Then on the next day, he sailed alone in a small boat and caught a huge marlin. He had to fight against a pack of fierce sharks to protect his prey. The astonishing film was adapted by Peter Viertel from the novella of the same name by Ernest Hemingway directed by John Sturges.
